SCHEDULE CHANGE:
Due to historic flooding in downtown Cedar Rapids,
the first summer camp session slated to start Saturday
June 14 (K-2) and Monday June 16
(grades 3-5, 6-8 and High School Intensive) has been
canceled. Students from session 1 are
encouraged to join session 2 or session 3 instead.
LOCATION CHANGE:
Due to the flood, all camps have been moved
to Cedar Rapids Washington High School,
2205 Forest Drive SE in Cedar Rapids.
All our camps are designed to be age appropriate. Younger students learn to hone their imagination and creativity through play activities, arts and crafts. Older students will explore the theories and methodologies of acting, voice and dance as well as the technical aspects of theatre productions.
Participation in our summer program does not guarantee placement in any TCR production.
Discover the art of theatre! Introduce your budding performer to the fundamentals of the craft -- from singing, dancing, acting to designing, building, and painting.
Based on TCR's exciting summer productions, High School Musical and Dear Edwina Jr., this camp will inspire imagination and creativity in kids of all ages while they learn the ins and outs of all aspects of theatre.
