Four (very) well-intentioned theatre people walk into an elementary school. The work at hand: a politically correct celebration of Native American Heritage Month that won’t ruffle any feathers. What could possibly go wrong? Proving to be a hilarious test of its creators woke credentials, The Thanksgiving Play is a wickedly satirical take on the persistence of cultural blindness despite (or due to) the best of intentions.
